Which AI Platform Will Get Small Business Mindshare (and Wallet Share)?

I’m getting emails from Google Gmail saying “pick me” – pick me and in essence asking me to use their version of AI, which is Gemini Business.

As more and more major small business platforms embed AI into their services, they’re all vying to have their customers upgrade and use AI within their platforms.

Here’s the challenge. We’ve all got the taste of Chat GPT, Claud, Twitter Grok, Mid Journey and “thousands” of other AI tools.

Google, Microsoft, Zoho and a few other major small business vendors are embedding AI into their tools, how long can these “smaller players” last on their own and with VC funding?

Will you keep using Chat GPT, paying $20 a month for it? Or instead use Google Gemini or another platform’s version that’s part of your daily email, file storage and document creation service?

You will see a consolidation happening over the next few months.

As larger vendors buy and/or offer more and more services in THEIR services that other vendors offered as single solutions.

Canva was the king of online graphic creation. I’ve been using Twitter Grok more and more to make graphics.

Intuit Quick Books is embedding more and more AI into its services. No need to export that data into Chat GPT to get deeper insights.

What about Dropbox? It’s going to quickly, my guess, add AI tools right into its platform. Click get a summary of your document right form Dropbox – maybe it’s already there.

Leverage AI tools and learn them. This is a season of testing and experimentation.

Don’t rely on any ONE platform at this time, it’s too early.
