The Small Giants Community’s keystone event—our annual summit—is a time for the community to come together, learn from one another, and strengthen relationships.
The 2024 Small Giants Summit will be held in Detroit, MI
May 7-9, 2024
Born out of the book Small Giants: Companies that Choose to be Great Instead of Big by Bo Burlingham, the community was co-founded by Bo and Paul Spiegelman to bring the pages’ concepts to life.
The Small Giants Community Summit is the first in-person event to be held by and for the community and remains a favorite for established and emerging leaders alike.
Over the years, the event has evolved to adapt to feedback and circumstances, but we always enjoy getting to see familiar faces as well as meet new ones, and we like to call Detroit our home base whenever in-person events are possible.

Some topics that have been covered in the past include: employee ownership, unconscious bias, feedback loops, and much more.

Indeed, through workshops, roundtables, and breakout sessions, we’ll talk through timely topics and use the wisdom of the group to unpack the toughest challenges you’re facing today.
