Canva Scales Back Team Pricing and Listens to Customers

Mid-September I received an email from Canva telling me, my team subscription would go from $119 a year for 3 people to about $300 a year for three people It was a shock and I didn’t like it. Thousand (or more, I’m guessing) of other business owners didn’t like it either. I changed my subscription to the “single user” pro plan to save some money.

I applaud Canva for listening. It’s pricing will now be $10 per month, per person for teams – of at least 3 people This MIGHT turn out to be the same, however at least we change a CHOICE and we won’t be hit with a HUGE annual bill. THANK YOU Canva.

An email Canva reads:

We’re incredibly grateful for your support as an early adopter of Canva Teams. Your support and trust have been instrumental in shaping Canva into what it is today.

We’ve carefully listened to your feedback regarding the recent pricing changes, and we’re pleased to share some good news.
Your Special Pricing Will Continue

Earlier this year, we discontinued our early pricing for teams on Canva, which included the ability to add up to four extra people at no additional cost. We had planned to gradually transition Canva Teams subscribers to our current standard pricing of US$10/month per person starting at three people, or your local rate, reflecting the expanded value of our product over the past four years.

However, as a special thank you for your loyalty, we’re pleased to extend your original pricing for your team.
